Engage Your Organization
At the World Affairs Council of St. Louis, we value our relationships with member organizations across a variety of industries and specialties. Our business, education, and non-profit partners contribute unique perspectives, international experience, and remarkable people to connect international affairs to our community. We invite you to join us as a partner by hosting WAC for an informal briefing about your organization and your role in international business.
The format is entirely up to you, but we find the following formula works well:
Arrivals: 7:30 am with coffee and continental breakfasts for guests networking
Briefing: 8:00 am featuring leadership versed in the company’s international business
Q&A: 8:30 am to 8:45 am to allow informal interaction and add value to the discussion
Tour: 8:45 am to 9:15 am, often broken into smaller groups to ease logistics
Departures: 9:30 am.
Post-event surveys show the 100 or so who attend each briefing value the networking time. Host companies value the exposure that these low-cost, low-disruption events provide.
Past partners of the World Affairs Council of St. Louis include: Ikea, Circus Flora, Bunzl North America, the Danforth Plant Science Center, and Novus International.
